ABOUT ME

When I was a child, I remember taking my older brother's copy of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and playing it from dawn to dusk. I didn't know how to save at the time, so I would get as far as I could before starting a new game the next day. When I was much older, I found a copy at my local retro game store and finally finished a playthrough after all of those years. And I noticed something, I felt the same as I did when I was just a child.

I've had a strong passion for video games ever since those old days of playing my Gameboy in the car on a road trip. This passion grew as I did and culminated into a drive to recreate those moments from my childhood. To me, video games are an art form meant not just to entertain but to create moments of awe and emotion. With each game I play, I try to look for and study these moments to break down what makes them work the way they do.

Through my studies at Full Sail University, I have learned game development and design using Unreal Engine 5. However, I have also been learning Unity in my personal time as well as basic modeling in Blender and pixel art using Aseprite and Pyxel Edit. I hope to extend my skills in creative writing as well. I want to learn as much as possible in hopes to use every ounce of skill acquired to craft the perfect gaming moments in every project I work on.
